Located next to the Spring Hill Metro Station, the Adaire sits at the heart of a transit-oriented master plan along the Silver Line, a transformative regional rail link between Dulles International Airport and downtown Washington, D.C.

The tower’s undulating concrete balconies and sweeping forms are inspired by fabric-draped sculptural figures and provide expansive outdoor spaces and shade for the façade of the slender elliptical tower. The exterior wall assemblies and composition include full height windows employing an adaptable frame system which enhanced fabrication efficiency and accommodated a highly expedited installation schedule.

The Adaire features an array of indoor and outdoor amenities, street level retail space, and ample rooftop and façade landscaping for storm-water management. It has received accolades for both architectural and bird-friendly design, along with a craftsmanship award from the Washington Building Congress.
