Joshua is a licensed architect in Virginia and graduated from the University of Virginia with a Masters and Bachelor of Science in Architecture with Minors in Urban and Environmental Planning, and Global Sustainability. His experience includes mixed-use multifamily/hospitality at R2L, core and shell with a hospitality component at Cooper Carry and higher education in Philadelphia with KieranTimberlake. At R2L, he worked on 1400 West Peachtree and completed the Fallyn Apartments and Fraye Hotel in 2022. In grad school, Joshua focused his research on sustainable design including topics like biomimicry, designing in a contemporary vernacular style, understanding the dynamics within co-living, constructing in mass timber/CLT, prefabrication and parametric environmental design. Before studying architecture, Joshua served in the Singapore Armed Forces as a Platoon Commander and Second-In-Command. On his days off, you can see him playing ultimate (frisbee) or sport climbing.
